How to naturally get dewy clear glowing skin that doesn't need makeup
Your skin craves hydration and moisture retention to give it a smooth glowing clear look. Here's how to get it and keep it with Dirty Beauty Skincare Products.
First
use STRIP which gently removes makeup and just grime and pollution
from the environment that clings to our skin on a daily basis.
To use it, gently shake it by turning it upside down a few times to mix the foaming agent with the oily part.
Then squeeze a nickel size amount or so into your clean hand and massage it into your skin.
Your skin can be dry or slightly damp.
Massage it in and watch makeup and excess oils dissolve away.
Add some water to your face and massage it in a bit more and you'll notice some creaminess helping to rinse the oils away.
Continue to rinse really well until all of the STRIP and dissolved makeup is rinsed away.
This first step helps to prepare your skin for a real good clean and it does this without over drying your complexion.

is REVEAL (a total fave!) which is a soft exfoliant and grain based activated
powder cleanser.
REVEAL cleans and buffs your skin without the use of soap or detergents.
REVEAL helps to rid your complexion of unwanted dullness and releases freshness that is sometimes trapped under dry or flaky skin that is somewhat 'glued' to the surface.
This is fun + easy to use too and it travels really well.
Just put a nickel size amount or so into the palm of your really clean hand.
Add a sprinkle of water to the powder and kind of mix REVEAL and the water together to form a cleansing milk type texture.
Massage this mixture onto your face and neck for about 45 seconds or so. Rinse it off really well and leave your skin slightly damp for the next step

SHEER is a rich light face oil that locks in moisture to give your skin a fresh dewy look and it helps keep it that way.
Water is the thing that hydrates or moisturizes and oil is what locks the moisture in and prevents the water from being evaporated away.
Face lotions are a combination of oil + water using an emulsifier.
When you use SHEER face oil, you use the water from your skin and kind of combine it to some of the water using friction.
So to use it, put 1 to 2 drops of SHEER into your damp clean hands and then rub your hands together.
Then gently press your hands to your damp face to provide a thin layer of light oil protection that keeps your skin ultra hydrated.
REVEAL and SHEER can be used morning and night, and probably STRIP you would use mostly in the evenings.
Also a side note, this beauty ritual works even better when we're drinking the necessary amount of fresh water, eating the recommended amount of vitamin C daily (the raw form is better like strawberries + pineapple etc.), and consuming vitamin A and vitamin E.
Our skin is the result of what we did about 30 days ago or so, so expect to see some immediate topical results and even more dewy face beautiful skin results in 4 to 6 weeks and ongoing.

Here, our Licensed Holistic Esthetician Co-worker does a beauty experiment with REVEAL. The question? Is REVEAL too gentle to exfoliate my skin?
OBSERVATION : REVEAL Illuminating Face Exfoliant is a light weight
product made with a base of organic oats.
REVEAL comes as a dried powder that is soft and easily manipulated to a thickness of my preference. REVEAL has a limited amount of ingredients that I can read and recognize.

QUESTION : Is REVEAL
too gentle to exfoliate my skin?
HYPOTHESIS : I
think REVEAL feels gentle but, it is still able to exfoliate my skin due
to the light buffing action of the organic oats joined with the enzymatic
action of the papaya once mixed with a liquid.
EXPERIMENT : With
clean hands, touch your face and notice if it feels rough and in need of
exfoliation. Notice if it is dull with a lack of glow. Has your makeup not been
applying in a smooth manner? If any of these apply proceed by mixing a small
amount of REVEAL Illuminating Face Exfoliant with water or green tea in
your hand. Gently massage REVEAL over your face for 2 - 4 minutes. Remove REVEAL with a moist, clean, cotton cloth. Notice if your skin feels smooth and
bright. Apply moisturizer.
ANALYZE : Post
exfoliation my skin feels clean and smooth. My moisturizer seemed to penetrate
deeper and I needed less moisturizer than normal. My skin looked more vibrant
and healthy.
CONCLUDE : REVEAL Illuminating Face Exfoliant is gentle and effective
at exfoliation. A little bit goes a long way and it can be used on a wide range
of skin types due to its gentle nature. REVEAL is gentle enough to be
used on a daily basis or it can be used for longer time frames ( 5 - 10 minutes
) 1 - 2 times a week.
Beauty Experiment : Using a Clay based Cleanser on breakout prone skin
Following the Scientific Method - Product Spotlight : Earth Clay Cleanser
Our Holistic Esthetician co-worker used our EARTH creamy clay cleanser and conducted an experiment.
Here are the results
OBSERVATION : Earth Clay Cleanser is a creamy, thick, mask-like cleanser with an invigorating minty aroma.
QUESTION : Will Earth Clay Cleanser feel too drying on my skin if I have dehydrated AND breakout prone skin?
HYPOTHESIS : Earth Clay Cleanser will not be too drying to my breakout prone + dehydrated skin due to the addition of butters + oils to the clay base.
EXPERIMENT : Apply Earth Clay Cleanser over your face with a bit of filtered water. Massage Earth Clay Cleanser for 1 - 3 minutes into your skin. Gently remove Earth Clay Cleanser by splashing water onto your face or by using a warm, soaked, clean cotton towel. After cleansing does your face feel too tight and taught? Does it feel overly sensitive? When you apply moisturizer do you need more than normal? Does your face feel smooth & plump?
ANALYZE DATA : After cleansing with Earth Clay Cleanser my skin felt smooth, plump, & cleansed. It did not feel fragile or dry. I was able to use my normal amount of moisturizer without my skin needing more.
CONCLUSION : Earth Clay Cleanser is a functional cleanser for those with break out prone skin that is also dry & / or dehydrated. It does not make the skin over sensitized. This could be recommended for those with sensitive breakout prone skin.
