Beauty is the application of scientific knowledge

LIPID : any of various substances that are soluble in nonpolar organic solvents (such as chloroform and ether), that are usually insoluble in water, that with proteins and carbohydrates constitute the principal structural components of living cells, and that include fats, waxes, phosphatides, cerebrosides, and related and derived compounds
"Lipid." Merriam-Webster.com. Merriam-Webster, n.d. Web. 10 Nov. 2017.

Oil is a LIPID. The oily substance (sebum) that our skin makes and excess oil from makeup, moisturizers and pollution rest on the surface of skin. Water cannot wash LIPIDS away, so splashing skin with water alone does not clean. STRIP mixes with excess oils & grime on the face which can then be wiped away or acted on by a surfactant to rinse away the unwanted grime.

SURFACTANT (Chemistry) Also called: surface-active agent; a substance such as a detergent, that can reduce the surface tension of a liquid and thus allow it to foam or penetrate solids; a wetting agent
Collins English Dictionary – Complete and Unabridged, 12th Edition 2014 © HarperCollins Publishers 1991, 1994, 1998, 2000, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014

STRIP is formulated with coco glucoside (which is a foaming agent and has a gentle 1 rating on EWG Cosmetic's Database). STRIP gently penetrates, foams, and helps to rinse the plant oils away from your skin leaving in fresh & clean.
